Kotinga Guesthouse

An ideal location for a couple to base themselves while exploring the wonderful Golden Bay. This peaceful rural property, 5 minutes from central Takaka is surrounded by fields and bird-song. The self-contained unit has a en-suite bathroom with large step free shower, a vanity and toilet. The bed/sitting room includes a reclining couch, queen bed, dining table and a fully equipped kitchenette. The property is Animal friendly, with plenty of off street parking. As the host we also live on-site.

Wifi available Owners live on property There is a wooden deck with outdoor furniture & bbque. $15 fee will be incurred should an EV be charged at our cottage ..

The 'Retreat': is a family run designer studio flat with access to a cottage garden, inviting you to sit out and relax in...seasonal honey from our own beehive. Tucked away and private at the foot the Grampians it's just 10 minute walk to the heart of Nelson city. Great spot for mountain bikers, trampers and workshop attenders. Ask if you have any questions- entry time, one night,extra bed. Currently no pets allowed, garden is unsuitable presently.

The Chooks Nook

The Chooks nook, a home away from home. Tucked up in a quiet native garden surrounded by bird song and fruit trees for you to enjoy when in season, and of course our four cheeky chooks. Our seperate, private cottage sits on our 2,250sqm property, with the great taste trail right on our doorstep and the gateway to the Abel Tasman 15 minutes drive away. Why wouldn’t you want to come and see what this amazing place has to offer.

Stoke Homestead Apartment - Bike Great Taste Trail

The apartment lies around the corner from the Railway Reserve, connecting you to Nelson city in one direction, and the coastal cyclepaths of Tasman and the Bays in the other. The building is over 100 years old and is close to the beaches and vineyards of Nelson and the Great Taste Trail. The accommodation is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
