It is on a lifestyle block in a semi-rural subdivision, half way between Motueka and Mapua, with Kaiteriteri, Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson, not much further away. You will need a car to get around. It also supports monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and maintains a 17 trap trapline.
