Away from a main road, up a private driveway is Claret Ash Cottage. Just a few paces from the front door is an organic flower and herb garden where plants are cultivated for skin care products. You are welcome to explore the 33 acre property and a must see is the panoramic view from the hill. The quiet tree lined dirt road behind is a perfect walking trail. Perfect for walking and riding, the Heysen and Kidman trails are accessible through our back gate. Famous McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wineries are nearby. While the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is quite separate and totally private. A 50 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and a 20 minute drive from southern beaches, it is perfect for a weekend escape.

This is a truly beautiful and private location situated on a 167 acre working beef cattle farm. Pour yourself a glass of beautiful local Adelaide Hills wine and gaze over the rolling hills, perhaps with the Murray Grey cattle right in front of the house (depending on paddock rotations). The local resident Kangaroos will likely hop past to say hello too!
