Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Tranquille et Belle. Blottis en plein Nature!

N.B This house is ideal for 2 adults and two children ! Partial Low ceilings in bedrooms. When I first came bumping down the track, in an ancient 2CV, many years ago, I was spellbound by the place. The absolute peace and tranquility of the spot. That spirit still remains. Part of a group of old stone farm houses, with private terrace opening out from the front door. Situated on the southern slopes of a beautiful south facing valley. Quiet and peaceful. place to relax, away from it all!

Le gîte est situé au cœur du Parc Naturel Régional des Baronnies Provençales, entre les lavandes, les tilleuls et l'Ouvèze. Cette rivière (Rio en espagnol) est accessible de manière privative et borde le terrain d'un hectare qui offre de nombreux espaces (plage de rivière, coin lecture, prairie, terrain de jeux) où s'intègre aussi une magnifique piscine (10x5m). 🐕🐈 Terrain clôturé, animaux de compagnie bienvenus (supplément appliqué). Charmant bastidon au cœur de la Provence, situé au pied du Mont Ventoux et en plein centre du village de Crillon-le-Brave. L’intérieur a été entièrement rénové. Vous trouverez tout le charme d’une petite maison confortable et tout équipée. Beaucoup de calme et la vue dégagée sur la plaine et les dentelles de Montmirail, vous garantissent un séjour hors du temps. Un bastidon agréable, son bassin chauffé des le mois d'Avril et son jardin privé pour 2 personnes, un bien très rare en provence.
