The Conductor's Cottage, escape to Waterval Onder

The Conductors' Cottage is a converted railway house that offers beautifully furnished accommodation for up to six guests. Set in the grounds of the main farmhouse, there are three cottages in total. The Conductor's Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge & outside deck area to enjoy. There are views of the hills of Mpumalanga Province as you sit on the verandah. We are a working farm with resident sheep, geese & pigs. We also have four boxer dogs that are part of the family

Elandsvlei Estate Chalet

This beautiful secluded 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet overlooks a peaceful dam surrounded by wildlife. There is a lapa next to the chalet with a fire pit, as well as a picnic deck with breath-taking views overlooking the water-lily covered dam and a beach! The Chalet is located on a 3000 ha private game farm between Mookgphong (Naboomspruit) and Vaalwater with giraffes, buffalo, eland, kudu, gemsbok, zebra, wildebeest, and many other species. Game drives are available for an additional fee.

The kids are welcome to interact and learn about the farm animals. The fly fisher has 1.5km of river front, and a fishing pond around 1km away. Enjoy the splendid view from the patio while preparing dinner, relaxing around a fire, and discuss the catch or trail ride of the day. The cottage has solar back-up.

Ilanga Game & Fishing Lodge

Ilanga Game and Fishing Lodge is a self-catering lodge located on top of a hill, in Dullstroom Country Estate. Ideal for a family or group looking for comfortable lodging with serene views, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Guests can do bass or trout fishing at the dams, Game drives, bird watching, cycling or just enjoy the stunning view from the house of the country site. Leadwood Lodge Bush house

This is a self catering, fully airconditioned house, let as a unit, you will need to bring everything in the way of food and toiletries with you (towels and bedding are provided). We have an inverter system, to enable lighting, during load shedding. There are 2 stores, the Bush Center and Marlothi Shopping center, with fuel. Sunbird Cottage is on a working farm 30km from Volksrust and Wakkerstroom Wetlands, it is a place to come and relax and recharge, we are off grid. There is great birding, walking, mountain biking and bass fishing on site, there are also kayaks for the dams. The cottage overlooks a gorge that goes down to the Slang River with an indigenous forest and has great views over the valley towards Amajuba Mountain and Battlefields for those interested in history.
