Vegan picnic with rescued animals
We'll start with a tour of the sanctuary where you'll meet a variety of rescued farm animals. We'll share their stories of resilience and healing and talk a bit more about the industries they come from. You'll love meeting our animal ambassadors and may be surprised at what you learn, since we so rarely see the animals in our food system. Join us afterwards at our picnic tables in the field for a glass of local wine and a vegan cheese and charcuterie platter. (Note: The platter contains nuts and gluten unless otherwise requested. Please inform us of any allergies when you make your booking so we can be sure to provide suitable options. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be served.) The Experience will last approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Please be mindful that as a sanctuary for rescued animals, our priority is the physical and emotional well being of the rescued animals who call Charlie's Acres home. Our loved animal residents are completely free and always have a choice as to whether or not they want to interact with visitors. They will reside at the sanctuary for the rest of their lives, where we'll have the honor of taking care of them. Other things to note: Learn more about what to expect and find answers to frequently asked questions: https://charliesacres.org/faq.html

Private Pottery Wheel Lesson
After being introduced to the space and to each other, I will provide a quick demonstration on the wheel with a small amount of clay. Afterwards, each guest will be allowed time to create a piece on the wheel from beginning to end with personal instruction and assistance from me. Guests are welcome to make anything they would like to on the wheel! Cup, bowl, vase, dish, etc. (Please Read)The firing of pottery is a long process that is separate from the time we spend on the wheel. Each piece requires a two day long firing process in a kiln, and I hand glaze each piece. I offer kiln services out of my personal studio if you have interest in having your piece fired for a *small fee that is not due the day of the experience.* I do not include this in the price of the experience because some guests do not wish to keep their piece. Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting some clay on. Clay will wash out, but you may not want to go out right after. The time noted on the experience, 2 hours, is generally descriptive of a 2 person experience which encompasses the majority of my bookings. In general, the experience is 1 hour per person. If there are 3 or 4 people in the booking, likely the experience will extend the 2 hour session time, and if there is 1 person in the booking it will be closer to an hour.
Bake Bread, Create Cheese, Flip Omelets
In this super-charged BRUNCH class, I’ll teach you how to make an easy homemade sourdough bread from scratch without the hassle of a sourdough starter. You will enjoy this bread several ways for brunch alongside other dishes. Besides the bread, we’ll also make fresh ricotta cheese, tartines, and perfect French omelets—made with Petaluma’s famous eggs. The experience will be hands-on and you will learn some valuable cooking skills and tips in this robust class—and at the end of the class you’ll get to take home the loaf of bread you baked, to enjoy later as a delicious souvenir. This is a great class for beginners, or intermediate bakers, as well as for people who want to learn many general cooking tips, and who want to enjoy a delicious 4-course brunch with a complimentary glass of California bubbly. This is not a class for people who want to make sourdough bread with a starter. This IS an experience for someone who is hungry for both knowledge and great food. The Perfect Wine Blending Experience
At Meadowcroft Wines, learn about the art and science of winemaking by blending and bottling your very own bottle of wine. We’ll start with a stroll through the beautifully manicured gardens of Cornerstone Sonoma and an idyllic vineyard for a firsthand look at the vines. As we walk the rows, We’ll share why the iconic Sonoma Valley is the perfect place to winegrapes. Then, we’ll sit to create unique blends from wines that have been aged in separate barrels to craft your own red blend using Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec Petit Verdot and/or Cabernet Franc to place your own signature style into a Bordeaux based red blend. Each person will hand-cork their own bottle of wine and take it home to share. No previous wine experience is necessary - perfect for all levels of wine experience and interest. Other things to note: You'll blending will be guided by one of our knowledgeable team members. Bring comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and a camera. The tour starts at 10am sharp! *Please inquire for large parties or corporate groups by contacting us through the Airbnb site.
The Taste of Sonoma Bike Tour
We will bike on our local country roads while enjoying stops in vineyards, walking through 160 year old wine caves and even, during the harvest season, we enjoy tasting the grapes and testing the sugar levels. All our experiences are geared towards each small group's needs and wants. We will enjoy a private lunch at one of the wineries, a behind the scenes cheese tasting and more. The wineries we pick are diverse and the route is designed to show our guests what Sonoma has to offer. Other things to note Our locally guided experience includes the lunch, waters, and the behind the scenes cheese tasting and tour but does NOT include the tasting fees which typically run between $35-45 average per winery.
Tour the valley with The Wine Gypsy
We will head out for the more remote parts of the valley. Up on mountains and down the back roads to places that you might never find on your own. I choose wineries with character, whether it’s the people or the place. Something unique and special that makes you think “This is cool!” What you imagine when you picture a Napa Valley wine tasting experience. Properties that you are reluctant to leave because the wine is so good and the people so friendly you could sit there all day. Eat your picnic lunch on a hillside overlooking the valley. Winter months we might eat inside the winery, or do a tasting beside a roaring fire while we watch the rain fall. Sit and converse with the winemaker in their homes. Tour a property in an ATV. Hit golf balls out into a lake surrounded by vineyards. Please note** Tasting fees are not included in the price. Wineries will comp fees with a wine purchase. If you are traveling where purchasing wine is not an option, you may opt to pay the tasting fees. Please note there may be another party on the tour with you. We spend a full day together because there is so much to see. I will pick you up either at the meet spot or at your local Napa Valley lodgings. Pickups outside of Napa Valley are possible for an additional charge. Other things to note Cellar tasting rooms can be a bit chilly. We will be climbing some stairs, and navigating some gravel pathways. Water and sparkling water will be provided. * Ask me about special flat rate pricing for private groups over 4
A day in the Vineyards

Typically, we will visit 2-3 wineries (based upon timing and location of Airbnb), one stop either offering a food and wine pairing or a picnic lunch. o Picnic Lunch option o If you choose the picnic lunch option, you do have the flexibility to choose a casual picnic lunch or a more elaborate offering. The cost of food is dependent on your meal choices. o A menu will be provided for you to choose from. We will place the order, pickup, and set up the picnic at the winery with dinnerware and some fun décor for the table. A few things to remember.... o Wineries do require reservations be made in advance and will require a credit card. o You will receive an itinerary prior to the date of your experience with a brief description of each winery you will visit. Sit back and relax.... After the last winery visit your driver will make sure you are back at your vacation home safe and sound. We look forward to welcoming you to Wine Country!!
Wine Country Hands-On- Sushi making class
We invite you to a winery lounge nestled in the charming wine region of Kenwood. Only 20 min drive from downtown Sonoma or a 15 min drive from Santa Rosa. We specially chose this location for the wines and food pairing. Séamus tasting lounge is where we will teach our class in the winter months. However we also love to host by coming to you in your Airbnb, estate property , or home. We will demonstrate some of the dishes I have perfected on my restaurant's menu. I will demo step by step how to create unique sushi with fresh high quality tuna, salmon , Hamachi and other species of fish. We will pair each bite with wine to complement the meal's flavors. Along the way, I will teach about different types of Tuna species and why Blue-fin, Big-eye and yellowfin tuna is distinctively different from all other fish on the market. I will include recipes and methods for you to continue practicing yourself at home. It's how I was able to learn and I hope to share my love with the rest of the world. Other things to note Provide some humor, willingness to learn and be ready to have fun......

Painting Your Past Lives
In the words of Fritz Perls "Lose your mind and come to your senses." Take a day and practice this profound message in the medium of paint. YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT NEED EXPERIENCE PAINTING!!! After introductions we will start with some movement and move into three deep and relaxing guided imagery meditations. This journey will take us into the mysterious territory of our past lives. We will use these sensations along with movement and support to create a painting. We'll experience the act of painting with freedom and become aware of the critic within that holds us back from our full expression. Experience the liberation necessary to approach your creativity with full vitality. After we finish our paintings we'll have time to debrief about the experience in a sharing circle. Other things to note This workshop is not therapy but VERY therapeutic. Coming with an open mind can enhance your experience.

Enjoy Private Chef Dave in Sonoma
Take advantage of our group discounts! ★ 10% OFF — groups from 4 to 5 guests ★ 15% OFF — from 6 guests My kitchen experience is formed around the experience of being Puro Californio, my indigenous ancestors go back before the Spaniards arrived, and the European side sailed from France to settle Sonoma in the 1850s. Those roots run deep in ancestry and attitude. My palate reflects that and draws from Americana, Regional Mexican, Mediterranean, Moroccan, and even aspects of Vietnamese. The West Coast experience is in my blood, and the purest expression of that for me is via the plate and pen. I also have a gritty, sentimental side that I pour onto each preparation. I will arrive before your dining time to begin working my magic. Not only that, but I will show up at your doorstep equipped with every ingredient needed to prepare your meal. Feel free to put your apron on and cook some dishes with me! I am eager to share with you the secrets behind my recipes and local hidden treasures.
