During the first ten minutes, relax as I describe our mission and why I am so passionate about the work we are doing. Then, I will spend five to ten minutes describing the tools we will be using and demonstrating how to make a guitar string ring. You will then have thirty minutes to pick your strings and begin making your own ring. For the last ten minutes, I will show you how you can add beads to your rings if you want. If you are not into the beads, you can leave the rings as they are. The guitar string rings are beautiful in their simplicity too. Other things to note This can be great for all ages. It is great for groups and for team building! My bachelor's and master's degrees are in teaching, so if you do not think of yourself as particularly crafty, no worries. I will help out in whatever capacity is needed.

We’ll meet at Plaza Mariachi, located in the heart of Nashville's International Corridor, Nolensville Pike. From Plaza we'll walk down to the Little Kurdistan area. We'll eat there & see a traditional Kurdish bakery! At each stop, you will be provided generous portions of a signature dish of a country. Dishes we may try include: Venezuelan Empanadas, Kurdish appetizers, & Traditional Mexican Tacos, Pastries & Ice Cream. We'll end our tour back at Plaza Mariachi, a stunning entertainment & music venue. On this tour, you'll join me as we explore the city and food culture through the medium of donuts. You'll learn about the history of Nashville, each donut location, how they fit into the larger food scene, as well as try some amazing donuts. We start from Parlor Doughnuts where we try some of the best donuts you've had in your life. Next we'll stop by D'Andrews Bakery to try their world famous signature donut. Followed up with Rise Donuts & Biscuits near Broadway and finally, we end at Assembly Food Hall where they have both delicious donuts and other amazing food options. BYOB Join me as we flick, fling, drop and spray paint on the canvas, walls, or wherever. You'll be provided with full body coveralls, gloves, foot covers and goggles.
