Grange House

True to the historical tapestry that is Northumberland, Grange House was formed by the fusion of two 18th-century cottages. Its name references the monastic grange which once lay in its footprint, recalling a faraway time when Cistercian monks walked these hills. Today, the house is a quintessential country home which invites easeful gatherings of friends and family. With its airy living spaces, cosy furnishings, and contemporary bathrooms, guests here can enjoy creature comforts and wilderness.

Puddler's Cottage

Located in the centre of a small town, Puddler's Cottage is the perfect base to explore the stunning beaches and castles of Northumberland whilst only a short drive to vibrant Newcastle. With a wood burning stove, a cot available on request and a sofa bed downstairs, Puddler's has all you could wish for a cosy and comfortable getaway. Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

This old railway house is situated at the Ulgham Grange Railway crossing within the beautiful Northumberland country side with access to lovely walks straight out the door. We have the pleasure of seeing classic steam engines such as the Royal Scot travelling passed from the comfort of the upstairs bedrooms. Very clean beaches of Cresswell and Druridge bay are easily accessible by car and bicycle.
