Welcome to Westown Retreat. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Westown, on the spectacular Taranaki coast (black sand). Tasman Sea on one side, Mount Taranaki on the other. A 2 minute walk to our local suburban shops: Dairy, Takeaways, Cafe, Sports-Bar Restaurant, Yarrows Stadium and Taranaki Base Hospital are all within an easy, flat walking distance. 5-ish minute drive to the City Centre, Supermarkets, Beaches, Museum, Aquatic Centre, Pukekura Park, Govett Brewster Gallery, Coastal Walkway...

The Little House

Lovely little private cabin in Fitzroy. Newly renovated and consists of a bedroom with King size bed. There is a skylight above the bed equipped with a blockout blind. The Bathroom is en-suite with large rain shower. Cosy lounge area with flat screen TV. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with microwave, toaster and a fridge. The French doors lead to a decked area overlooking the garden area where you can relax and unwind. E-bikes are available for hire - see photos

The cottage is a quiet retreat 10 mins from New Plymouth city. Wake up to the call of Tui and the sound of a stream running outside. Only a 10 minute drive into New Plymouth and beaches, 5 mins to the Egmont National Park. The Village hosts a cafe, petrol station, large mountain bike park, NZ's largest Holden Museum with luge and mini golf.

Wisteria Cottage

A cosy, tranquil stand-alone country cottage nestled amongst native trees. Enjoy birdsong, have your morning coffee on the deck, fresh farm eggs for breakfast. Walk 2 minutes down our road and enjoy a spectacular view of Mount Taranaki on a clear day. Walkway around the corner - 30 minutes bike ride to Fitzroy Beach/Te Rewa Rewa bridge. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Our charming two-bedroom unit offers a serene escape, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring New Plymouth. Modern amenities and tasteful decor, create an ambiance of relaxation and rejuvenation. Please note this property is part of a two block unit and we offer the front unit as an Air BnB. Not an ideal set up for young families with children on the go - as there is no outdoor grass to play on and has a shared driveway.
