Our recently built Annexe sits on the site of the Old Village Blacksmith’s in the quiet scatter village of Caerwedros. Inside it retains the old stone walls to our cottage which feature both in the bedroom and living room . It has been finished to a high standard and is ideally suited for two people but there is a sofa bed in the living area. ONE PET only . We are situated 3miles from the seaside town of NewQuay (Wales) with its sandy beaches and Dolphins. Walking distance of the Coastal path.

Stargaze from a comfy king-size bed. Snuggle up by a wood-burning stove (free wood). Large bathroom with bath, shower & underfloor heating. Well equipped kitchen with coffee machine. Covered outdoor seating area with firepit & bbq. Fibre internet, smart TV (Netflix etc). 2 well-behaved dogs welcome.

The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

Betty's Cottage - Beautiful, rural valley.

Relax in a beautiful, detached, cosy stone and beamed cottage nestling in a peaceful, wooded valley where nature is thriving. Rustic and comfortable . The cottage overlooks a stone bridge and small river on the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border. We are doggie friendly and are happy to welcome well behaved dogs. The perfect base to be in nature, walk, cycle and explore many scenic areas of this beautiful part of West Wales. Betty's was built in the 1800's and is a traditional, stone cottage.

Llareggub Cottage, is named after the fictional town in Dylan Thomas’ Under Milk Wood. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open plan living area together and outside decking. Wifi is unlimited. With a small third bunk bed room, this property is more suitable for 4 adults and 2 young children . The property has sea views and is within a short walking distance of New Quay’s harbour and beach, restaurants, shops and public houses. Grade 4 star listed by Visit Wales Accommodation .

Old Fishermans Cottage

Stay in an authentic Mariners cottage a few minutes walk to the sea on the beautiful Cardigan bay coastal path. This is where quaint seaside towns and villages are nestled between the beautiful seascapes. Green fields and deep wooded river valleys, combine with the remote and starkly beautiful Cambrian Mountains. A magical place to visit. This is a place to relax, away from it all, enjoy the local scenery, sample locally produced and sourced foods, wine and beers.

Cosy cabin & small garden, 1.5 miles to the beach

Situated on a quiet road in between the sea side town of New Quay and Llanarth, our cabin is close enough to be by the sea in 5 minutes but without the crowds. The Cabin is situated at the end of our drive, with it's own parking area and a small private garden offering a sea view and is the perfect place to watch a beautiful sunset in peace and quiet. Inside, the cabin offers a living space perfect for a couples retreat to get away and unwind.

We welcome all well behaved animals and we have a warm outside shower. If you would like to arrive earlier or leave later we will try and accommodate.

Cilborth - a seaside retreat x

Cilborth is ideally situated in the centre of Newquay with fantastic far reaching views of the sea in front with dolphins often spotted. Situated metres away from the popular Ceredigion Coastal Path. With private parking, WiFi,a large outdoor space suitable for barbecues etc and recent renovation makes Cilborth a beautiful place to stay. There are many seasonal activities to enjoy ranging from horse riding to boat trips.

Wake up to sea views and the whole of Cardigan Bay with our Stargazer Tents. Perfectly situated to take full advantage of the stunning view, New Quay is on only a short 15 minute walk away on the coastal path. Each tent has a wood fired hot tub, a wood burning stove and its own private toilet and shower. The King size bed sleeps 2 adults and there are bunk beds that are ideal for kids.

Glovers Cottage is without doubt something unique. As you enter you will be struck by the space and the overwhelming character of this detached building. The owner has deliberately left the barn open-plan for guests to appreciate the huge A-frame beams and stonework. A feature handmade bed sits on the first level as you enter, and this area leads down two steps to the flagstone floor.

Welcome to our lovely character filled cottage ‘Y Bwthyn’ situated between New Quay and Aberaeron. It provides an ideal base to explore beautiful Cardigan Bay and the Ceredigion beaches. We’re less than a mile from Cei Bach and Traeth Gwyn beaches and half a mile from the Welsh Coastal Path so it truly is a walker’s paradise. You can even walk along the beach to New Quay at low tide.
