(sorry, no pets allowed) We are 10 mins walk from the tidal estuary, cockle shell beach and woodland walks , & 2min ride from Dalbeattie 7 Stanes Mountain bike trails Sadly The Anchor village pub closed in Dec25, and The Mariner won't open until summer 26. Set amongst the beautiful Galloway Hills, it is an ideal destination for a weekend retreat or a base to explore the fantastic surroundings such as mountain biking, cycling, walking, beaches, shopping. Guests also have access to a wood fired sauna.

Shore Escape is a self-catering, coastal, family-run, handcrafted retreat with sea views and a stones throw from the shore line of Carsluith Bay. The Garden Lodge, Beaumaris, Anglesey

The Garden Lodge is situated on our farm just about a mile and half from the seaside town of Beaumaris. Fully self contained the lodge has two bedrooms and sleeps four people comfortably. Spacious, clean and tidy throughout and with a private garden the lodge is an ideal base for exploring Anglesey. Well behaved dogs are welcome ( one dog policy), there are horses, sheep and other dogs in the farm area so guests with dogs need to bear this in mind.

A great base to discover and explore the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. We are only a short drive to stunning beaches and the coastal path. Then return for a relaxing evening on the patio for drinks and an amazing dark sky for star gazing.

The Pod has an open plan bedroom, living, dining and mini kitchen area and an enclosed shower room. Outside we have an open decking looking on to The Pond and stunning views further towards Criffel.
