Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision

Farmhouse Cottage, Melrose

A 200 year old cozy farmhouse cottage situated on a working farm in the Scottish Borders. The cottage has a private entrance with outdoor seating area, gated driveway and free parking. The cottage is within walking distance to many local towns, the closest being Melrose (3 miles approx). Being 38 miles from Edinburgh means it is close enough for a day trip. The Nest is a charming small cottage in the heart of the picturesque town of Melrose. The town is home to the Melrose Rugby Sevens & the Borders Book Festival & boasts many restaurants, cafes & independent shops. St. Cuthbert’s Way, Melrose Abbey & the Eildon Hills are a short walk away. The open plan lounge/kitchen is well-equipped while the ensuite open plan bedroom is cosy with a bright bathroom with bath/shower. There is also a small private direct access courtyard garden at the rear.

A tranquil open-plan studio in historic Newstead, just 1 mile from Melrose and 2.5 miles from Tweedbank Station (with trains to Edinburgh in 50 mins). Set in a peaceful garden at the foot of the Eildon Hills, it’s perfect for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. Enjoy morning birdsong and the gentle clip-clop of horses on the nearby bridle path. Great for exploring local heritage, scenic walking routes, and St Cuthbert’s Way. The Black Triangle Cabin

The Black Triangle Cabin is a peaceful getaway situated on our property just outside of Jedburgh, a historic town in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The Cabin sleeps 2 people in a king size bed, with a separate living/kitchen space boasting views through the woods and across the fields. If you keep an eye out, you may see the deer that pass through regularly, or even hear our resident owl. Ideally located only an hour from Edinburgh, Newcastle and the St Abbs coastline.

Ancient Castle above the River Tweed

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

Beautiful Flat with Snooker Room and Jacuzzi Bath

My place, close to transport links, is a perfect base for country or city. The flat, originally a 1920’s bungalow, is in the downstairs part of the house separated by a locked door and we live in the upstairs part of the house. We’re in the heart of the historic Scottish Borders with beautiful Edinburgh only 50 minutes away by train. Why not relax with a glass of wine in the private garden, jacuzzi bath or snooker room or curl up on the window seat with a good book.

Situated in the picturesque Scottish Borders Unique in character and set in the heart of the town of Galashiels. Rose Cottage is a 200 year old traditional stone house which has been lovingly renovated to a very high standard. Quirky, and cosy it contains, one small double bedroom, a lounge with a log fire, kitchen and a fantastic shower room both with underfloor heating. Close to Heriot Watt University, the Borders Railway and Town Centre.

Gorgeous refurbished Clockhouse cottage in woodland on private estate near amazing riverside walks, near the village of Earlston and in the heart of the historic Scottish Borders. Clean comfortable and chic - perfect for fishing the Tweed, visiting Melrose and taking an understated staycation. The porch is for logs, boots and muddy things. Walk through kitchen leading upstairs to gorgeous sitting room, two comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom.
