Shiloh Cottage

Slow down and experience country life on our little plot of land. The cottage is located on our 6 acre property with a tree-lined view with cows in the pasture from the front porch and a sweet view of the ducks in the pond and sheep grazing from the bedroom window. We have two Great Pyrenees dogs, 2 cats, and chickens. There might be occasional barking. If prolonged, we will bring them in. Fully stocked kitchen. There is always plenty of coffee, coffee creamer, and homemade scones for breakfast.

Country setting with everything you need for a good stay. We are in the country but not far away from town. Located 15min from Sweetwater, 20 min from Athens, 45 min from Knoxville, 1 hour from Chattanooga. Watt bar lake is 20 min away and offers some great fishing for bass, walleye, crappie, stripe and catfish. There is public ramps and I can point you in right derection to catch some fish. Bring boat i have plug on side of house to charger batteries. Also visit the lost sea 20 min away.

Cozy Cottage on Peacock Farm

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis minutes away from Downtown Athens and Tennessee Wesleyan University. Attractions in Knoxville, Chattanooga and the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers are less than an hour away. Only a little further to Dollywood and Gatlinburg for any tourist activity you can imagine. The cottage offers a kitchen, queen size bed, TV, DVD player, and washer/ dryer. *Currently working on getting wifi in the cabin and there are not any actual peacocks on the farm.

The Cottage at Acqua Dolce

The cottage at Acqua Dolce is an adorable studio located just behind our 1827 home in the historic district of Sweetwater. Our 3 acre property is wooded with many magnificent trees and a small creek making it a park-like setting while being in town. Great for visitors of all types with easy access to shopping, hiking, white water rafting, fishing and much more. We are near many destinations including, The Smokey Mountains, Tail of the Dragon, The Lost Sea and numerous wineries .

Experience downtown Athens in a Beautiful, two bedroom , 1 bath, restored 1930's home. Sit on a southern porch, sip some tea while reading, listening to music or watching the neighborhood activity of dog walkers and jogers. Take a stroll around the beautiful historic downtown area and enjoy unique shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, entertainment and cafes. Near Tennessee Wesleyan University, Library and several parks. Pet friendly, be sure to select pet if booking with a pet.

The Barn Cottage - Sunrise

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in the country. The Barn Cottages are part of the Holt Family Farm. The farm features Grain Bin Commodities bakery, West Hills Dairy, and the original crop land that has been farmed for over 60 years. Explore this beautiful farm in the heart of East Tennessee. We are also a great spot to explore the entire valley. Knoxville is 40 minutes away, Cherohala Skyway and the Dragon are 30 minutes away. Chattanooga is only an hour.

The White House Loft

The main White House CLOSED 11/2023 when we retired to TN. This is when THE LOFT, our new Air BnB opened 04/2025. The LOFT built by the Amish, is 1200 sq. ft of open living space w/the same STUNNING views the original White House has. Only 4 miles from Historic Sweetwater, a true Hallmark Town, you can antique, have the best ice-cream, visit the infamous LOST SEA, walk to restaurants. Whatever your reason for visiting, Sweetwater will become a fast favorite for sure!

The Hive - Yurt Stay on micro farm

Welcome to The Hive! This is the second unit on our hobby farm and a nature lovers paradise :) Gorgeous views and abundant wildlife both day and night. After parking near the main home you will take a very short (under 300ft) walk down the hill to the 24ft yurt. On the walk down stop and say hello to the farm animals. Inside the yurt you will have all the amenities to keep you entertained and cozy. Venture out to hike, kayak, shop, etc or just stay in with a good book.

The Barn Studio

Country style vacation setting complete with free range chickens and fresh eggs. One gourmet breakfast served for two or more night stays. Full kitchen, grill , fire pit area, seasonally heated pool, lighted gazebo and private hot tub available for use. Private, yet less than an hour to tourist attractions in (Knoxville/Chattanooga) , motorcycle destinations, kayaking and rafting. Only a little further to Dolly World and Gatlinburg amongst other day trips.
