Scale a flight of stairs to a spacious garage-top apartment Oasis. Enjoy views of a private garden and flowering trees from big windows, throughout Spring and Fall. Vaulted ceilings give a sense of airiness. Create fantastic meals in a full size kitchen in the open-plan living area. Please Note: No children under the age of 12 years old allowed. Due to open staircase, indoor balcony, and not a child proof Loft. There is a stair from the entrance to the upstairs apartment. But, it's part of the experience. Everything is new including the washer and dryer. The windows are operable. Other than very cold or hot weather, enjoy great cross breezes by opening the windows. It's amazingly quiet and yet so close to all that gives East Nashville its vibe. It's a private apartment. You are completely free to use everything inside it. The door has a smart lock. Prior to your visit, you'll receive instructions. There's no need for a key. We are available as needed by phone, text or email. While we live in the house on the same property, guests have total privacy by design. Oasis is a cozy getaway in the heart of the unique neighborhood of East Nashville. The loft is walking distance to quirky retailers, local restaurants, coffee shops, and music venues. Hop on a bicycle to reach Shelby Park, Greenway, and the city. Much of what East Nashville offers is within walking or biking distance. Downtown is a short drive on local streets. If you don't bring a car, Uber is a great alternative. This Loft is accessed off an Alley.

Hip and Stylish Loft in a Quiet Historic Neighborhood

Cook in a full kitchen and dine at a farm table that was custom made for the space. The feeling here is modern country chic, where earthy simplicity meets the sophisticated style of brass faucets, modern lighting fixtures, and beautifully appointed floors. Well lit, the space is very homey, with a full queen sleeper sofa and extra comfortable beds. The open layout makes the loft feel roomy and very spacious. Guests are allowed to use the entire upstairs garage apartment as well as the back yard if they would like. This historic neighborhood couldn't be more convenient to the Nashville hotspots—it's right off the interstate yet tucked away to get that neighborly feel. The Shirley Loft 203 pays homage to Shirley Harvey the late wife of Fred Harvey Jr. of Harvey’s Department Store that existed at 506 Church Street from the 1940s to the 1980s. After attending Vanderbilt University, Shirley stayed in Nashville to work and serve her community.
