We are minutes from the town of Conway and Murfreesboro, NC, home of Chowan University. We are a 2 hour drive from the OBX. We are located 30 minutes from Roanoke Rapids and Ahoskie, NC. Please note that our property is located next to the NCVA railroad. The slow-moving train is subject to come by or stop anytime during the day or night.

Our backyard leads right to the water and our boat dock, which is the center of lake life. The water off the end of the dock is about 6 feet deep, with shallow water by the shore. Swimming, fishing, sunbathing, and relaxing all happen right there.

The Waterfront Retreat w/ Pool & Boathouse

Bring your own boat to fish or ski the day away, with the ability to moor it up at the boathouse for easy everyday use. Make memories with everyone on the floats, kayaks, paddleboard, peddleboat, or enjoy a family dip in the pool catching the sunset. Dogs are welcome for a pet fee (2 dog max).

This waterfront ranch-style home is located in a quiet cove on Lake Shores just off the main lake. The cozy cottage accommodates 14 people in the five bedrooms plus one full-size futon in the playroom. The lakeside facing kitchen is fully stocked. The dining area has two dining tables seating for 12+. Amenities include outdoor shower and use of Weber grill.
