Black Cockatoo Bangalow is located in the picturesque Byron Hinterland 5 mins from Bangalow and 15 mins from Byron Bay. Just a short drive from all the beautiful beaches, eclectic events and markets the far north coast has to offer, yet as the only home on a 220 acre cattle farm, guests are guaranteed peace, privacy and a taste of idyllic country life. Native wildlife and birdlife abound and the river which runs around the back of the house is teeming with fish, turtles and platypus.

Up & Away on Braeside Mountain at 857m above sea level, is the highest point between Toowoomba & The Summit. Offering spectacular 180-degree panoramic views of the entire Southern Downs region. Martin Bales - farm and hill views close to town

Located in a former dairy bales and horse stable guests get to stay in a farmyard setting. Martin Bales is located on the ridge of a hill that overlooks the farm and Nimbin area but also a series of small paddocks which will often host cows and calves or the occasional horse. A friendly mini pony and donkey are highly likely to come to a fence within a few metres of the bales (carrots provided). Includes an outdoor kitchen, bath and footbaths from which to enjoy the view.

The Barn

The Barn is fully self-contained accommodation 20 metres away from the main farmhouse. Wildlife abounds on this secluded 140 acre farm. You’ll wake up to the neigh of a horse, or the chatter of the cheeky King Parrots. We hope you like animals! Great place to take a break & breathe in the country air, while still being only 20min off the M1 motorway & 18min to the Grafton CBD. Fold out sofa bed available for additional guests or kiddies. Aston Cottage is a 10 minute drive to the quaint village of Bangalow and 15 minutes to the beautiful beaches of Byron Bay.
