Northern lights with pro-photographer
Join the local expert that knows off bitten tracks and most majestic locations in the area. Joining me I will do my best to stay away from crowds of mass tourism that is escalating in Tromsø at the moment. Join me and feel most cozy and fun experience. Join a small cozy group where you can feel like friends having a great experience together. Learn how to take the photos of this amazing phenomenon or just enjoy the nature and stars while I can take all the photos for you. I have been taking Aurora photos for 13 years and I really know how to capture them and get the best out of it. I am happy to teach you those tricks as well as talk a nice stories about the northern lights and Arctic. My wish is that we have a great experience together. Due to weather conditions we might need to adjust our final destination, it can be Tromvik, Sommarøy, Skibotn or Kilpisjarvi. With last two ones the tour might extend until 2:30am so please plan accordingly next day. Aurora is a natural phenomenon and I will do my best to bring you to the clear skies however the show of the night is left to the almighty Universe I hope to chase with you soon, teach you all I know about Aurora, and share some great life stories. The weather is changing a lot in Tromsø so there is always a chance to find clear skies. However sometimes we need to reschedule the experience for another day in case of danger.
Ski in the Wild - Lunch -Ideal for beginners
-Escape the crowds. -Perfect for beginners, easier than you believe. -Nice warm lunch/dinner. -One minute after exiting the bus, you have skis on your feet. -Best chance for sun - tour from 10 to 2 o'clock. -Ski, snow, ice and fire. This is Norway. You will be surprised how 'Alaska' the area looks like, so close to the center (25 minutes bus south, from the Opera) After some skiing we will make a fire, and enjoy a warm lunch/dinner in the forest. We will probably not see many people, maybe none. Cross country skiing is kind of mindfullness, and easier than you think. It doesn't get more Norwegian than this: Ski, fire and food over fire - Norwegians favorite activity. With a Norwegian guide. Don't miss this chance to get back to nature! Global warming is here. The last 30 years, the winter has become 39 days shorter here. The time for skiing is now. Sometimes later becomes never. Other things to note If you don't have mittens or wool socks - you can borrow mine (small, medium, large). You don't need to be fit (if you are fit enough to walk for some hours, you will be fit enough)
The Ultimate Norwegian Skiing Experience
We will explore the white and beautiful winter with skies on our feet, the true Norwegian way! I will provide all skiing equipment for you at your arrival. This is for you that have not been skiing a lot before, but wants to try. The main idea for this trip is for you to have fun together! To try something new, to eat something good (typical Norwegian cross-country food), and to have fun together with skies on your feet. I might also challenge you with some fun activities. This is an excellent experience to get to know each other, see great nature and have fun. Throughout the experience we will also take some nice pictures. We start off at our meeting point at Skullerud Metro station ( Line 3 towards Mortensrud from Oslo central station, 20 minutes ride.). From here we will find the right equipment for you to be ready, and then we start off by exploring the area of Østmarka. In the beginning you will get a small introduction for basic techniques to get started, and from there on, its a lot of "learning by doing". and I will of course give you some pointers along the way if needed. During the trip we will take a nice break to enjoy and heat up with some Traditional Norwegian skiing snack. Depending on the weather, the destination and meeting point might change, so that we get to the best skiing conditions. If so, you will be notified in advance. Other things to note This experience is open for everybody. There is no demand for level, or expectations to perform. This is an experience of pure joy in good company, trying something new and having fun together as a group.

The hunt of Aurora Borealis in a small group
We are meeting in Tromso, by the main Library. Then we are going for the HUNT. We are going to chase the northern lights, finding good weather and perfect spots to watch this beautiful lights. On the way we will make many stops to check the weather, to get to the restroom, note that later it might be no restrooms around us, so we will have to use wild nature. On the tour you will get hot drinks, snacks and a light meal. I'm gonna take pictures of you and northern lights, also I will have extra tripod for your camera if you will need it. After the tour I will bring you to your accommodation. NOTE: Meeting time might change, depending on weather conditions, so be ready.
A guided run through Trondheim with a local
Do you ever bring your running shoes when you visit new places? I do! However, I don’t always know where to run to be able to get the best views. I want to soak up as much as possible when I travel, and that’s why I figured I should arrange guided running tours in my own city! The tour will take you around the most iconic sights in Trondheim, plus a few hidden gems most tourists don’t get to see. The trip can be fitted to your preference regarding length and pace. Keep in mind though, this is no sprint, but rather a comfortable jog to see the city! We will make a few stops for photos (I’ll take them for you if you don’t want to bring your phone/camera) on the best spots! PS! IF THE SCHEDULED TIMES DOESN'T FIT YOU, FEEL FREE TO SEND ME A MESSAGE TO SEE IF WE CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT! :)

Winter fjord and mountain hike
Mt. Oksen is one of the most beautiful hikes in Hardanger. It is an 6-8 hour hike where you will have a fantastic view of the Hardangerfjord and the mountains surrounding the fjord. We can customize any length tour for you and your group. We can go hiking by the light of the moon, under the stars, in the sunset or in daylight. Hike up to a spectacular view of Mt Oksen (when cloud cover and weather allow), where we stop for hot drinks and snacks. Ingebjørgfjellet rises up from the Granvinsfjorden, Utnefjorden, Eidfjorden and Sørfjorden "junction", all local fjord arms in Hardangerfjorden. The view from the top is breathtaking!
Trolltunga Snowshoe Winter Hike
PS: Please contact me in advance if you want to book this trip to Trolltunga. Then we will find a date and time in the calendar for our trip :-) Trolltunga is one of Norway’s most popular hikes for good reason. It is an incredibly scenic hike, ending at the Troll’s tongue, a thin sliver of rock perfect for creative photographs. When arriving I will go through safety and the equipment needed. In late spring and winter season I recommend going early in the morning (no later than 07) to get the most out of the short (but beautiful) daylight. The hike from Skjeggedal to Trolltunga is a 28km total roundtrip (14km each way), about 850m ascent and we will spend between 9-12 hours. From Skjeggedal we follow the path to Mågelitopp and then switch to snowshoes (depending the snow conditions) and continue up the mountain side to Gryteskar where we get an amazing view towards the Folgefonna glacier. The trip continues towards Tyssebotn and finally Trolltunga! During the course of the walk we'll have several breaks to rest and eat, and of course to enjoy the view! You will need to bring your own food for a whole day, good clothes and hiking boots. Other things to note The hike from the end of the road to the Trolltunga site is a steep and demanding route. Be prepared. Always take extra clothes, food and water.

Wild Løvstakken hike- feel as a local in Bergen city center
Every neighbor in Bergen has their own mountain. Did you know that?? Exactly, Bergen is surrounded by 7 beautiful mountains and each neighborhood has a mountain near by! I'm so lucky to have my one. The one with the best views! Løvstakken has a 360 degrees view from the top. From there, we’ll see the ocean, the city and all the small islands around and the fjord. Also, it's one of the quietest and very paceful (It's surrounded just by locals). It's possible to see some deers and other small animals on their daily life. This peak is 477meters high and we’ll climb almost from the sea level. The terrain can be challenging for non experienced hikers, so it’s required previous experience on rocky terrains hikes. This climb is something very typical in our daily life. Would do you like to have a mountain as a backyard??? I’ll tell you about our lifestyle and culture… If you are a nature lover, definitly, you will fall in love with Norway. Would do you join me for this cool and local experience??!! I'm looking forward to cheers with you on the top with some warm tea and local snakcs…The view…is part of the menu too!! Friluftsliv og skål!

During the tour I will give an introduction to the basics of sailing and if the weather allows it we will hoist sails to take us out the fjord and to the islands. We will also try our luck for some fish to serve with the fish soup we will will serve on the way back to our safe harbour.
