Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

An Cala, Benderloch

An Cala is a cosy cottage in a rural location in the village of Benderloch, within only 20 minutes' drive of Oban. There are sandy beaches within easy walking distance. The Fort William to Oban cycle path passes right outside the garden gate. The village has a convenience store and seasonal cafe, which are just 2 minutes' walk away. This is an ideal base for exploring the West coast of Argyll. Ferries run from Oban to various islands, and the mountains of Glencoe are 45 minutes to the North.

Recently converted from an agricultural shed, it is now an extremely comfortable holiday home – a silk purse from a sow’s ear! The high-ceilinged sitting room has a wood-burning stove and with large picture windows, guests will surely never tire of the ever-changing loch views.

Well equipped kitchen to make your stay a relaxing and enjoyable experience. 5 mins walk down the hill is Oban town centre with easy access to the ferry terminal and train station; 3 mins walk up the hill is the McCaig's Tower.

It’s a spacious family home, there's a huge sitting / dining room with wonderful views across Loch Linnhie, Benderloch, Ben Cruachan, and to the ferry terminal, and Island's, comings and goings. A Victorian Cabin perched on the banks of Loch Goil. Enjoy a picturesque stay over looking the breath taking Scottish Highlands. The Cabin consists of a walk in wet room with toilet and a very well equipped kitchen. Within the kitchen you will find a fridge, stove, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and crockery. The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.

The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

In an area of outstanding natural beauty, Oban, is the unofficial capital of the West Highlands - the "Gateway to the Isles" and "The Seafood Capital of Scotland".

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
