NEW....The Captains Cabin is a delightful, compact elliptical cabin with outstanding views over the Sound of Mull.Situated on the same 4 area site as AirShip 002 and The Pilot House it has its own private balcony (with steamer chairs) which extends over the whole flat roof of the old chapel below. It comprises a nautically themed saloon and galley, bedroom with a king size bed and a shower room.Highly insulated with underfloor heating and a 100% renewable energy supply and delicious spring water

The lodge is open plan with plenty of space and has its own private driveway, front door, living area, fully fitted kitchen and shower room. Tea and coffee is supplied for your comfort. Take advantage of the decking area, experience 360 degree peaceful views of Dun Leacainn and surrounding hills while watching the wildlife and capture great memories. On a clear evening the stars fill the sky. The walks directly around the lodge are full of history and stunning views including a waterfall.

Modern new luxury cabin nestled on our working croft shared with our Hebridean Sheep. Situated in a peaceful glen twenty minutes walk to the local coastal village Connel and ten mins drive to the town of Oban we offer a gateway to the outdoors - mountains, beaches, forests, islands. The cabin has been built to immerse our guests into the tranquil surroundings with uninterrupted countryside views over native woodland from the decking area where deer and sea eagles are regular visitors.

Ethel’s Coorie Doon is a self-contained shepherd’s hut nestled within the grounds of Craig Villa Guest House. Fully insulated, fully equipped, and boasts mountain views. Ethel's Coorie Doon is perfect for couples and solo adventurers who want to explore the local area. We welcome up to 2 furry friends, but please note, there is a pet fee of £14. We provide information for local walks and hidden gems, local restaurants and pubs. We provide free parking and storage if you arrive by bike.

Shepherd's Hut near Oban

Get away from it all in our shepherd's hut located just outside the village of Connel and only a ten minute drive from the bustling seaside town of Oban. The accommodation is located on our family croft (we live on site near to the shepherds hut) with ducks, hens, Hebridean sheep and our two ponies as your closest neighbours. We are surrounded by abundant wildlife such as pine martens and red deer and have outstanding views over unspoiled countryside towards the slopes of Ben Cruachan.

We are ideally situated 2 minutes walk from the beautiful Tralee beach. A short walk from the pod you will find the world famous pink shop, Ben Lora cafe, Hawthorn restaurant and Tralee fish and chips. Oban is the gateway to the isles where ferries can be taken to many island destinations.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy this gorgeous setting either from the warmth and comfort of the open plan lounge or from your own private deck with extraordinary views over Dumgoyne and the Campsie Hills. You will be surrounded on all sides by fields, woods or mountains but yet be close enough to pop out for a coffee and cake at the local village or taste a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery.
