There is a whisper quiet dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, Sub Zero fridge and granite countertops . We also provide spices, olive oil, popcorn, paper towels and breakfast essentials such as STARBUCKS coffee, tea, cereal and oatmeal during your stay. The wood burning fireplace and 50 inch Smart TV (NETFLIX) are great for all. Business guests will enjoy the HIGH SPEED internet (Rogers Ignite 200 Mbps service), access to fitness, private decks and free parking. We also put in a land line telephone so that you can make local calls using a telephone rather than your cell phone. A voice activated, 50 inch, 4K high resolution TV and wood burning fireplace will make you want to stay in, but the supreme location near Lansdowne and the Canal will get you out and enjoying your day. Host speaks French and English to help you with your stay. This Glebe home is a great home away from home! It is a secure and private retreat and all yours during your stay. Great access to the Canal, shopping, fitness, theatres, grocery stores, Bank Street, Lansdowne, Whole Foods, Starbucks and the LCBO. Walking distance to Carleton University, the University of Ottawa, Parliament Hill and downtown. Very safe and vibrant neighbourhood. Well-lit entrance to the street. Sparkling clean. There is a little front deck and a larger back deck for guests to use. Lansdowne, the Canal and three city parks are just out the door but it is still nice to enjoy a drink on the patio. The" baby park" is two doors down but there is a large city park with an open air swimming pool, baseball diamond, dog park and tulips! Still have questions? Ask away. Walk to Carleton University, U of O and take a short transit ride to Parliament Hill. The Rideau Canal is out the front door. The best way to get around the Glebe is to walk but we are also very close to Bank Street where the #1 or #7 will take you right downtown. You can also walk along the Canal to get downtown. Easy walking or biking distance to Carleton University and Ottawa U. Additional parking can be provided for $30 per night. Guests must park only in the designated parking spot. (Thanks!) Forest Loft - Forest, Sauna, Ponds & Stargazing

The “Forest Loft” is a one-of-a-kind space surrounded by the old-growth trees of Kinghurst Forest. The 1,600-square-foot space sleeps up to four and features two Queen-size beds and linens, huge harvest table, indoor kitchenette with a stovetop and fridge, filtered water, shower, propane and wood stove heating, in-door basketball hoop, hammock, picnic table, a commercial grade BBQ, fire ring and access to two beautiful spring-fed ponds. Access to Finnish sauna for four is available on request.

This cottage has lots of space & is a favourite for families or reunions. Even large groups will find they have room for private time and group hang outs. The river is slow moving and warm in the summer months but too cold and fast for swimming or boating in the off season (usually Nov-May). No development across the river and neighbours two lots away on either side makes for a private and quiet experience. A games room, board games, wii & gym space give you lots to do on rainy days.
