For the rock hound there is an old mineral rich pink calcite gravel pit to explore. Enjoy the amazing views from the Balcony, gaze at the night sky, commune with the horses and marvel in the sights and sounds of nature while you refresh your soul.

Relax in an A-frame Cottage over looking a stocked trout pond surrounded by trees. 20 acres of trails. Fish swim, kayak or canoe in the pond or creek. Watch the ducks, frogs, herons, birds, turtles & a variety of wildlife. Enjoy the stars & roast marshmallows at the camp fire. Fully stocked kitchen, BBQ, wood stove, fire pit and 3 piece bathroom. Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.
