Easy for low-tide hot pools. Bliss! Don't feel like cooking? Then walk meters to Hotties Eatery/Bar or Hot Waves Cafe Linen/towels provided. Sorry, no animals/smoking or camping allowed. Palms Retreat

Spend a relaxing peaceful stay at our self-contained studio at beautiful Kuaotunu. The studio is separate from the main house and has it's own outdoor patio. Kuaotunu beach is only 2 minutes walk away and even in summer never gets crowded. 10 mins walk to the Kuaotunu village where you will find the famous Luke's Kitchen restaurant, Kua Kawhe Cafe and the well stocked general store. And not forgetting the local ice cream store! Large reserve, Tennis courts and Petanque court are right next door.

Converted designers studio. Open plan 32m with Queen bed, wardrobe, Kitchen with pantry, fridge, electric hotplate, oven, sink, toaster etc. Dining and Sitting Areas with lots of light. The Shower and WC area has an skylight. The handbasin has cold water only. The private garden space has a lovely sea view. 5 minute walk to the beach, Luke's Kitchen and the Kuaotunu store. Kayak, boogie boards and fishing rods available. No pets. Fully vaccinated guests only please.

The Treehouse Bush Retreat

Unique, private, expansive bush environment; a true retreat. Beautiful views down a valley of regenerating bush and out to sea - with Great Barrier island in the distance. Ideal for two couples travelling together but wanting more privacy. One couple can book The Treehouse and one The Empty Nest. Treehouse cooking facilities can then be shared.

Cooks Beach Studio Escape

Freshly renovated studio room, blonded timber, quality modern fit out and restful decor make this room a pleasure to reside in. Complete with kitchenette, located in the same space as bedroom (see pics) seperate bathroom across a small covered gangway and outdoor furniture on the rear of our reserve front property just a 2 min walk from the beach. Awesome Lost Spring hot pools only 100m away. Take an easy short walk to beach, ferry and town centre. Hire electric bikes, go across the ferry and ride to Cooks beach and even Hahei. Hire kayaks and take a scenic row in the Estuary and waterways. Newly renovated, separate entrance to studio apartment. Own bathroom on suite. Studio attached to main house. Own small private deck with cooking facilities, with electric fry pan and BBQ.

Ocean Cliff Court - Stunning Ocean Views

Ocean Cliff Court overlooks the stunning Blackjack Reef which is 15 minutes’ drive north of Whitianga. This 2 bedroom house was completed in 2017 and can accommodate up to 6 adults - there are 2 Queen beds and a fold out couch. It has a large deck with outdoor furniture and sea views. Located on a beautiful 1 acre property above Kuaotunu Village which is only 3 minutes’ walk from the beach, local pizzeria, cafe and shop.

Bush studio apartment

Self-contained apartment in a unique, artist-designed house: a beautiful studio with lovely new bathroom, situated in the hills above Kuaotunu, surrounded by NZ native forest. Enjoy sitting on the deck, under giant fern trees, listening to birdsong and the gurgling of the stream. If you're lucky you'll even hear our resident Kiwi calling! This beautiful ocean view property is a couple of minutes walk to Kuaotunu Beach and Luke's Kitchen, a well known local restaurant. The house is nestled on 4.5 acres of stunning gardens and native bush. The house consists of a 4 bedroom dwelling on the ground floor with an additional 2 bedrooms and an extra bathroom/toilet upstairs. "Kahukura" has ample parking for boats. The boat ramp is 1 kilometre away.
