Yingyangpad - wheelchair/accessible accommodation

WELCOME Built in 2019 under the guidance of a wheelchair using friend we have provided most, but not all, of the facilities to suit our less mobile visitors, although everyone is more than welcome to stay with us. It is styled around a rustic theme and is located around 5 miles (8km) from the A1 and 3 miles (5km) from the M62 motorways, with good road/rail links from 3 local stations and a bus terminus. All our guests have the full private use of the detached annexe during their stay.

Private Annex in Peaceful Courtyard

Our comfortable and inviting annex is sited over a converted 200 year old barn and situated in the quiet courtyard of Rose Cottage. This one bedroom accommodation has central heating, a kitchen complete with modern appliances, a separate lounge area with a Smart TV. DVD player (with a selection of DVDs) and free WiFi. The double bedroom has a multi-award winning Emma Original mattress, a Smart TV and en suite bathroom with toilet, wash basin and shower complete with toiletries and towels.

The Lodge at Wentedge

The perfect space to relax after a day of walking and exploring Brockerdale Nature Reserve. We also welcome one small well behaved four legged friend. We offer a secure place for cyclists to keep their bikes overnight. Our quaint and beautifully styled apartment is ideally located for wedding guests from nearby Wentbridge House Hotel and Rogerthorpe Manor. We are perfectly situated for a half way stop over when travelling between the south of England and Scotland, 5 minutes from the A1.

Carnegie Library: Bronte Apartment

Carnegie Library, built in 1906 and continued as a library up until 1970s. This apartment was the reading room. Beautiful original large arched windows bring natural light to the place. It is an unusual layout with mezzanine floor for the bedroom and a little nook area for the sofa bed. Separate bathroom with shower etc. Please note you are coming to an ex mining village so while Swinton it's self is not a holiday area , it is central to many interesting places around.

Mayes-Onette is a Perfect place to relax after a hard day of exploring or ideal for working executives to use as a base. Outside there is a pretty patio area you can enjoy using throughout your visit.

The Apple Chamber Self Contained Apartment

‘The Apple Chamber’ is a two-bed apartment in a delightful 16th century Grade 2 listed farmhouse, situated in the semi-rural village of Hatfield Woodhouse.   In years gone by, the Apple Chamber was the farm’s servant’s quarters as well as being used to store fruit through winter, which is where the name originates. It has now undergone an extensive refurbishment programme to provide modern self-contained accommodation with plenty of character.
