When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

The apartment (75 km2) is located in a 19th century house 5mins walk from the Old Town. The windows face the picturesque Castle Park (Cēsu Pils parks). Cuckoo the cabin sits next to a pond, where you can have a swim right away, but if you want to enjoy the seaside - it’s 2 km from the cabin - have a 25 minute walk (recommended) or take the car if feeling lazy. This is your perfect spot for a peaceful getaway!
