We are so excited to invite you to stay in our sweet little classic cottage, nestled in the heart of Elizabeth City's historic district. 1201 Church Street is surrounded by some of the original Elizabeth City homes dating all the way back to the late 1700s. We fell in love with the charm of the area combined with all of the up-and-coming attractions nearby. Our cottage is close to all of the new downtown breweries, wine bars, trendy restaurants, and waterfront district.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis at the mouth of the Perquiman’s River on the Albemarle Sound away from all the hustle and bustle. Relax on the large dock, paddle board, kayak, fish, or just float the day away in the shallow water - a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy nature’s beauty! When the sun goes down challenge your friends and family to a game of ping pong, darts, or shuffleboard, and roast some marshmallows outside over the fire.

Water Winds has Beautiful views of Albemarle Sound. Enjoy birding with Bald head eagles and Osprey, often seen in the cypress trees outside the great room. Paddling in the kayaks and exploring the sound are great ways to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Bicycles and yoga mats are all available to relax and enjoy some down time here. An additional guest such as a child can be accommodated at no extra charge using our single air mattress.
