Due to a balcony and limited space, The Hide is not suitable for babies, infants or children. Sorry, no pets.

The Hut in the Wild

Come and stay in our beautifully finished, tin shepherds hut at the bottom of our garden. We are located in the rolling countryside with extensive views over the vale of York. After a day of exploring this AONB, there’s nothing like cooking tea over the fire pit or wood pellet pizza oven followed by a dip under the stars in our rustic hot tub. Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 5 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.

A peaceful, romantic retreat for two. Our complex features six semi-detached Studio Lodges, each with a private hot tub. (Photos show each lodge; you’ll be allocated one based on availability.) Each lodge offers an open-plan layout with a double bed, cosy living area, and fully equipped kitchen and a smart TV Step outside to your private veranda with outdoor furniture. Unwind in your hot tub under a clear night sky, the perfect way to end your day.
