This quiet rancher sits right off of HWY 52 in Pinnacle, NC. The property is connected to Pilot Mountain State Park on two sides. PMSP trails can be accessed from here. Right down the road, there is a river access to the Yadkin River and horseback riding trails. Hanging Rock state park and the Dan River are only a few miles away. The historic town of Pilot Mountain is down the road. Enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain and the feel of being isolated while close to restaurants and activities

Chickadee McGhee's Countryside Retreat

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. End of road privacy yet close to downtown King. With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms the whole crew can come. This cozy home is a great place to nestle in for a weekend away or to use as a base for hiking the areas trails, tubing on the Dan River, or riding the Blue Ridge Parkway. Also visit our local Mayberry like downtowns in King, Pilot Mountain and Mt.Airy. Owner lives in basement apartment and is close by if questions arise.

Come enjoy this peaceful piece of mountain living. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere with neighbors hidden by the woods. You will have the entire upper level including an open loft with plenty of games, books, and toys. Nestled on Sauratown Mountain on 10 acres, Sauratown Mountain trails very close by with a view of Pilot Mountain from my very spacious deck. Nearby hiking, ziplining, canoeing and state parks await you. Or just relax on the hammock in the shade. Do you!

Stony Knoll Vineyards Wine Lodge

A family heritage 1850 log home that was completely renovated in 2007. The front porch overlooks Stony Knoll vineyard grounds and tasting room which is across the street. This wine lodge consists of 1 full bath with a shower and jacuzzi, 1 double bed, 1 king bed and 1 single bed loft. A fully furnished kitchen for all meal prep. A full sized living room with fireplace and TV. Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch or listen to the rain hit the country tin roof.

The treehouse offers 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom on the main floor with a rock shower and the loft bedroom with a half bath. Just built log home is wheelchair accessible with porch and deck views of Sauratown and Hanging Rock Mountain. Dogs are welcome and there is NO PET FEE! We have seasonal berries and a well-stocked fishing pond. Visit the state parks then come home to catch a breeze on the porch swing, watch fireflies or roast hotdogs at the fire pit.
