The cottage is situated on Wattle Valley Farm adjacent to our living quarters and a short walk to the iconic Wollombi Brook. During your stay, you might even come across some of our friendly native residents like wombats, kangaroos, playpus, echidnas, goannas, kookaburras and black cockatoos.

Enjoy some time out in this centrally located Studio Retreat just 4 minutes drive to Charlestown Shopping Centre, 5 minutes to Dudley Beach and 10 minutes from Newcastle City Centre. This is simple and relaxing accommodation with an exquisitely comfortable bed and lovely district views; a space to rejuvenate after indulging in all that Newcastle has to offer - shops, cafes and stunning beaches. Your host is a yoga teacher/massage therapist and can offer treatments/private class on request.

Our studio is a peaceful, quite centrally located place. Pied-à-terre, located on the historic hospital hill, is a detached self contained flat with a living/bedroom area, with a queen bed and a double fold out sofa bed. It has a kitchenette with microwave, kettle and toaster only. It's at the rear of the property amidst a lovely garden. A quiet escape from the busy downtown of Cessnock only a 10 to 15 minute walk away, and a 8 minute drive to the gateway of the Hunter Valley Vineyards.

Palm Cottage

Do you need a place to relax and unwind? In a quiet location with a garden outlook? Palm Cottage is located close to the lake and is a great base to explore vineyards, mountains, beaches, the city of Newcastle and so much more. Spacious open plan accommodation, 1 bedroom with queen sized bed, modern bathroom, kitchenette, 2 living areas, dining area and indoor/outdoor sitting areas and WiFi. Laundry is available on request. Single bed available on request. Ollie our whippet loves a pat.

Lake Macquarie Guesthouse

Modern self-contained guesthouse at the front of our family home, next to the shores of Lake Macquarie. Away from the chaos but close to everything. Renovated with two rooms, a modern bathroom & new kitchenette. We are in a quiet parkland setting. Wake up to the native birds and rustle of the gum trees. Go for a walk around the lake, play or picnic in the park and go for a fish. Indoor dogs accepted on request. Whilst adjacent to the Lake, the Studio has limited views of the lake.

Beautiful, cosy self contained Granny Flat nestled amongst the trees under our family home. We are approx. 15 minutes from Newcastle CBD & famous beaches. Newcastle Uni is moments away, John Hunter Hospital is a 7 minute drive. Private entry through the garage & you are welcomed to a leafy backdrop & creature comforts of home. Please note, our beautiful dog Bob is regularly in the yard the flat opens out to. You will see him in the yard during your stay. Pats encouraged 😊

Lily's On The Lake

Our charming studio is only 3 meters from the lapping waters edge of Lake Macquarie. Just relax and watch the yachts sail by, magnificent views. It's quite romantic to sit in the moonlight and feel the lake breeze in the evening. Through day you might like to try your luck at a spot of fishing from our jetty or enjoy a stroll down the main street looking through the boutique shops of Toronto 2 minutes away. A row of gourmet cafe/restaurants that face the lake.

If you require both bedrooms for 2 people, please update the number of guests to 3 adults (covers additional room charge) Selecting infants or children will not unlock the second bedroom as they stay for free. Alternatively selecting 3-4 adults automatically opens the second bedroom.
