Great surfing & swimming at the beach. Also safe for children to swim at beach, in river lagoon next to beach & can walk & play at beach all within viewing of the bach. 3min walk to several reefs where you can fish, dive, drop a cray pot. Excellent easy boat launching area next to reef. 15 min drive to Porangahau Settlemt.

The bach sleeps up to 10 in 2 double beds & 2 bunks in 2 bedrooms. Tea, Coffee, & the basics are provided. GUESTS MUST bring their own sheets, bedding ,pillows and towels etc, & leave the bach clean & tidy upon leaving. You must take all rubbish and recycling with you upon departure. Cleaning materials provided by us. Akitio has a small permanent population and we don't have a commercial cleaner to make things clean and tidy after your stay. We rely on you to comply with our House Manual.

We provide quality bed linen, including bath and beach towels. The large kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher and wine fridge.
