We are situated on the edge of the lake district in the village of Seascale with a wonderful beach at the end of our garden. Wasdale Valley (Scafell pike) & Eskdale Valley are your daily vista. We are perfectly placed for trips to the lakes and other attractions, such as Ravenglass and Muncaster castle. We have stunning views of the fells and the coast. Sunsets are amazing.

You can park the car & not touch it until it’s time to leave for home at the end of your stay.

An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Ideally located for a family seaside holiday Overlooking the Urr Estuary to Rough Island and offering spacious and comfortable accommodation for 6, the cottage has recently been refurbished to the highest of standards. The attractive garden surrounds the cottage and owners house ensuring privacy whilst also giving direct easy access to the shore across the private road at the front of the house, with space for boat storage and shorefront picnics.

Sea Glass Cottage is a beachfront holiday home with views over the dunes to the Solway Firth and Scotland beyond. Our guests tell us that the sunset views from the conservatory are breathtaking. The cottage has been tastefully updated and decorated by the owners with all amenities for modern living but retaining a quirky, seaside charm. Sleeps 5 plus a baby, no smoking, WiFi, dog-friendly. We charge £25 per dog.
