The Studio at Woodfort Estate

Our studio is perfectly placed for stunning views of our mountain and rolling hill landscapes. A weekend get away or longer retreat will be rewarded with privacy and peace to relax inside or on the spacious patio that captures amazing afternoon sunshine and sun sets! The main bedroom is detached from the living and kitchen, which has a fold out couch for extra guests. Relax in the outdoor bath and enjoy the simplicity of living off grid without lacking to many home comforts. Toilet is detached.

Karearea Farm Cottage

Karearea Cottage is on 4 acres with a horse and pony next to the cottage. We are central to the Waikato, minutes from the Waikato Expressway/SH1 - approx. an hours drive to Auckland, west coast surfing/fishing beaches like Raglan, 90 mins to east coast Coromandel's world renowned beautiful beaches, a short drive to Hakarimata bushwalks with 800 year old Kauri, Golf Course, Hot Pools, Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hamilton, Hampton Downs Raceway, and lovely cafe's a short drive.

River View Cottage

Beautiful hideaway, amazing views over the Waikato river and farmland. A few minutes drive to the supermarket, Mystery Creek( Field days)Velodrome, and Hamilton City. Punnet cafe and a local 4 square ( convenience store) are walking distance, located directly on Te Awa river ride which is also a great walking path! This cottage has everything you need, including a full kitchen with dish drawer and oven, a washing machine and heat pump/Air con. All linen provided.

LyeInn - Newstead Country Retreat

Reconnect with nature at this brand new property. Whilst only 10 minutes from the city you are able to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. Relax in the hot tub after a day of sightseeing whilst listening to the birds sing. We have 2 kune kune pigs (Cookie & Freckles) and a dwarf cow called Penny who are all extremely friendly and love a good cuddle and scratch. Lemon Tree Cottage is a comfy spot just a minute’s walk from the hospital and close to the lake and CBD. You can chill out in the bright living room, cook in the full kitchen, and you can get a good night’s sleep in air-conditioned bedrooms. Take peaceful walks by the lake or you can relax in the garden. And the best part? For every night you stay, we donate $10 to help treat the awesome NICU staff to lunch at the hospital.
