Unparalleled off-the-grid living in the outer Queen Charlotte Sounds in an original mussel farm barn renovated into boutique accommodation with three ensuite bedrooms, two reception rooms and an equipped kitchen nestled in acres of regenerating native bush with a short walk to the sea. Get here using your own boat or transfer by helicopter, water taxi or the Beachcomber Mailboat that leaves Picton every Wednesday. The mailboat can also deliver stores ordered online through Picton Fresh Choice.

Endeavour View - Rayner Cabin

The eco cabin has incredible sea views and is a perfect, private place to relax on the coastal walkway for those who enjoy nature. It is 10 minutes off the Queen Charlotte Track in Endeavour Inlet. There is NO ROAD in. Access is by walking, biking or by boat and a good level of fitness/agility is required. 2 extra guests can tent if requested. We are 19km from Ship Cove, roughly a 5-6 hour walk depending on your speed, (4km from Furneaux Lodge). The cabin is signposted, 400m off the QC Track.

Elaine Bay is the gateway for fishing and boating in the Pelorus Sound, with a launching ramp, and a mooring available.

Tui Glen is situated in a picturesque and peaceful spot in the heart of Endeavour Inlet in the Marlborough Sounds. This classic kiwi bach is a perfect spot for a traditional kiwi holiday of swimming, fishing, bush walks or simply just relaxing. It's a 15 minute walk to Furneaux Lodge via the Queen Charlotte walking track which runs past the front of the property. The property is nestled in it own small glen which allows you to sit out on the deck overlooking the bay.

This unique place has a style all its own, from its recycled timber floors to its walls of diverse art and spectacular views from every room . Positioned at the end of the point in the middle of the bay you feel surrounded by sea views. A steep meandering path leads to the sea where swimming or the kayaks allow you to explore the bay. Sleep beside the sea in this “can’t get any closer to the water” guest suite. Queen bed plus occasional seating. There are no cooking facilities - just tea and coffee included. The views are sensational of Waikawa Bay .Enjoy the local sealife from the deck- resident rays seals fish and even the occasional dolphin. Great spot for a sunset bevy and taking a swim from. Totally pet friendly. Use of a double kayak and life jackets available to guests.
