A characterful home with exposed wall built from stones of the River Aude. Two minutes walk to a host of local shops/bars/restaurants and twice weekly market. Night market in summer. Swimming, walking, cycling, kayaking all on the doorstep.

Au coeur du Pays Cathare, entre les villages de Lapradelle et de Caudiès (100m de la D117), à deux pas des châteaux, ce gite de 60 m2 sur deux étages profite d’une totale tranquillité dans un écrin de verdure avec un terrain arboré indépendant de 1000 m2 . Cette petite maison à proximité de notre domicile est en pierres apparentes et saura vous protéger des ardeurs de l’été. Pied à terre idéal pour vos randonnées nature ou culturelles ainsi que pour la pratique des sports d’eau-vive.

Chalet Salamandre

Geniet van de rust, het uitzicht en het comfort van dit stijlvolle chalet. Zeer geschikt als romantisch uitje of even bijkomen in de natuur met je gezin. Wij zitten op 650 meter hoogte, in een hete zomer is het altijd iets koeler dan in het dal en met een briesje, heel aangenaam. In de nacht koelt het meer af en is het lekker slapen. Een airco hebben wij niet nodig. Honden zijn welkom, € 15 per verblijf. Voor de winter is er een houtkachel. Wij leveren een kruiwagen met stookhout voor €15.

Wildlife is omnipresent and easy to observe. Numerous hiking or mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Our hamlet enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located 40 minutes from the ski slopes and one hour from the sea.

There are great hiking opportunities into the Natural Reserve of Nohèdes with it's 4 lakes and stunning views of the Pyrenées mountains and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.

Quillan is a great base to explore the mystery and legend of Aude Cathar Country, with its hillside vineyards and Pyrenean peaks the perfect backdrop.
