The cottage has been professionally designed inside and out, with a focus on relaxation. From comfy sofas in the living room and roll top bath in the main bedroom, to the wood burner for cosy nights in. Cooks will enjoy the handmade kitchen and dining at the antique farmhouse table. The terraced garden has views over countryside and large sofa to sit back and enjoy the view.

The bothy used to be an old Stable, then potting shed for Old Birtle, a grade 2 Listed farmhouse dating to back 1672. A great pub 10 mis walk away. 4 miles into bury with its market and major transport hubs, M66, M62. Perfect for weekends, for walkers, cyclists - we are on the edge of Beautiful Ashworth Valley. It is perfect for couples who enjoy the great outdoors (you can walk onto the West Pennine Moors from the house) or for those just looking for a private retreat in which to unwind. Plenty of free unrestricted on street parking. Please note we cannot accept children or pets, the studio is compact and not suitable.
