1898 Boxcar, Charming Quiet Sanctuary

Our narrow-gauge Chile Line Boxcar hauled Cowboys and Indians, sheep and cattle in the Rio Grande Gorge long ago. Now remodeled, it is loaded with charm, from hand-crafted touches to antique furnishings. Guests frequently exclaim, “Wow!” when entering. They call it “very comfortable and cozy” from slipper tub to bed, with grand views across sweeping pastureland and the Taos mountains. We offer a quiet location just 3 miles from Taos Plaza, 6 miles from the Pueblo, 22 miles from the Ski Valley.

PERFECT SPOT FOR A GETAWAY! A no-smoking, one bedroom retreat-like unit has tons of character. Stroll to the Plaza and restaurants. Enjoy the private patio off the bedroom or the lovely courtyard with calming fountain and many benches. Ideal for reading, thinking or meditation. Many guests have been "working from home with a different view"! One family dog (under 25#) is OK – and you must inquire in advance. The cozy paradise is a combination of the Taos vibe with contemporary touches.

The Clay Space

The Clay Space is a studio apartment that was once used as an Art Studio. It is located behind Taos Clay in an urban area in El Prado along the main highway, 5 minutes North of the Taos Plaza. Easy access to the River and The Taos Ski Valley, the Gorge Bridge and hiking. Ever been to Orlando's New Mexican Cafe? This space is just a few buildings North on the same side of the road. The Taos Clay building in front has interior renovation going on - a farm store will be here in the Fall of 2024.

Taos Earthship, 2 bdrm Virtual Hideaway!

This Earthship is great for experiencing a home that is quiet, serene, romantic, private, (one acre lot) surrounded by acres of sagebrush and chamisa. and is only 15 minutes from town. The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!
