HerdyView Lodge is situated in a peaceful location, overlooking rolling hills surrounded by nature on the edge of the Lake District National Park. It is a cosy, modern 3 bedroom chalet with a log burner. Situated close to the market town of Penrith and Lake Ullswater it is in a perfect location for exploring the Lake District and the Eden Valley. Away from the tourist crowds but also within easy access to hotspots and amenities. There are attractions in the local area for all ages and interests.

Hidden Gem on Traffic Free Lane in Town Centre

This lovely and characterful two-bedroom,apartment is located on a historic pedestrian lane right in the centre of Penrith, where it is surrounded by shops, restaurants, pubs, cafés and places of interest. It is on the first and second floors of a 250 year old building and has a double bedroom, a single bedroom, an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room, and a small private-use courtyard. It has a unique charm with wood beams and wonky walls, ceilings and floors, all of which add to its character.

Farrier's House near Ullswater

Farrier's house is a renovated barn conversion that was previously a farm shop. The house is located in the village of Stainton which is located 5 mins from the edge of the Lake District. It is only 5 minutes from Penrith, 10 minutes from Ullswater and 20 minutes from Keswick. Dogs are more than welcome! We also rent out Black Mesa on AirBnB should you need another property for friends and family! We live just down the road and so if you have any questions or problems we can quickly help.

The Bothy is a small snug barn conversion adjoining our home close to Ullswater The living accommodation on the ground floor is open plan and has green electric heating and a wood burning stove in a sandstone inglenook, a wooden staircase leads to a bedroom with ensuite facilities. The Cottage is set off the beaten track where you will have the chance to enjoy some peace and quiet and relax!

Barco House apartment is a purpose built self contained apartment completed in 2022 and set in the grounds of Barco House a lovely Victorian family home. The property offers large open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, shower room with underfloor heating and a double bedroom with a king size bed overlooking the garden.
