Our home is in the hamlet where Arthur Ransome, author of 'Swallows & Amazons' spent his childhood holidays. Today it still retains that old-world charm. We are a stone's throw from the lake, with woodlands & waterfalls on our doorstep. You can sit by a cosy fire or enjoy a walk/picnic by the lake on light evenings. We are located on the 3 Peaks route and close to the Pennine Way/Dales way. The property is surrounded by the finest walking and mountain bike trails in England. Set on the Dales Way, in the heart of the Lake District National Park lies Cragg House Farm. This working family farm now doubles up as a luxurious 2 room B&B. Run by Liz, alongside my husband Edward who manages the farm. Cragg House over looks acres of land occupied by livestock and panoramic views of the fells. The tranquil farm is only two miles outside of Bowness-on-Windermere. There are great local pubs and eateries and walks. There is even a golf course less than half a mile away.

A characterful grade II listed weavers’ cottage by the picturesque Rochdale Canal and Calder Holmes Park. Beautiful barn conversion which is ideally situated for walkers and 3 Peaks Challenge adventurers! It offers 3 bedrooms in the main house and is within walking distance of the local pubs, café and train station and has its own private car park for guests. From April 2019 2 (dog friendly) micro lodges/pods will be added and are located in the walled garden area next to the main house, both with private terrace and bbq. Pods are en-suite and equipped with TV, fridge, microwave and sofa.

We're Karen and Phil, together with our 30 year old son we have lived in our beautiful 5 bedroom Victorian home for 27 years. It was built in 1895 and retains most of its original stunning features! We are conveniently situated 15 min drive from Manchester city centre. The Metrolink is 5 minutes walk away which will take you north, south, east & west of Manchester...including the Manchester Arena and the airport. The M60 - J17 is half a mile away.

Ninth floor apartment with huge 30 X 30 foot lounge in city centre home . You have exclusive access to the flat but lounge area is owner's "lived in" space so expect books etc. Microwave, but no use of cooker due to previous incidents (insurance demand.) Double bedroom with access to your own bathroom. Separate sofabed in upstairs lounge if needed. Parking space available in underground car park but YOU NEED TO REQUEST THIS IN ADVANCE. Vehicles left at owners' risk.
