Located in preserved national park Polhov Gradec Dolomiti (only 25 minutes drive away from Ljubljana), it's also ideal for romantic weekend getaway with lots of hiking to the surrounding hills, reachable on the doorstep.

Seating areas around the house offer different beautiful views Morning sunrise, shaded south seating; but sunny in winter! Lunch/ dinner table west facing shaded by old pear tree. Dark starry nights, moonlit or Milky Way, silent or animal sounds! Village life is a 10min meadow walk. In summer a cosy traditional bar/cafe serves home-cooked food.

Just under the house you can explore amazing water grove and a waterfall, which is known as energy point. In the valley you can enjoy the beauty of emerald green Soča gorge and if you're brave enough, you can jump right in. The house is a great starting point for many hiking trips. The most popular is certainly the hike to a beautiful glacial lake Krn, under the top of mountain Krn.

A place in Bohinjska Češnjica, North–West of Slovenia, Bohinj region, 4 km from Bohinjsko jezero and 20 km from Bled in the heart of Alps. There is a summer kitchen, a clay stove, a hammock, a fireplace and a big meadow. Compost toilet , outside bathroom- no hot water. Sleeping is arranged in a traditional Bohinj's hayloft (for up to eight people). It is best to have your sleeping bags, fresh bedding we charge 5 € per person. Our house is located in Triglav National Park at the edge of a little village on the hillside of Pokljuka plateau, with beautiful views on the Bohinj valley. The house is comfortably equipped in rustic style and offers peaceful accommodation in pure nature. There are many possibilities for pleasant walks around the village. Nearby are many starting points for hikes in the beautiful mountains of Julian Alps. It is also close to turistic centers of Bohinj (10 km) and Bled (25 km).
