The spacious loft is the perfect place to relax after a day's sightseeing or travelling. The private entrance means the space is completely your own to relax and enjoy a bit of TV or film, or find out more about the area and it's history The main room has a comfortable king size bed, TV and seating area. We have one private room which can sleep up to 2 people. This can be set up as either double or twin room, please request your preference on booking. There is WiFi in the room The kitchen and bathroom are shared. We also have laundry facilities. Pets welcome. Parking is available. Penrith is the ‘heart of the Lake District’ and a good place to start discovering this wonderful area. We are only minutes from M6 junction 40. We welcome cyclists and walkers. There is a secure hallway for cycles.

It was built in 1620, once owned by Beatrix Potter, surrounded by hills and trees, and with astounding views. At night, the silence is total. Set on the Dales Way, in the heart of the Lake District National Park lies Cragg House Farm. This working family farm now doubles up as a luxurious 2 room B&B. Run by Liz, alongside my husband Edward who manages the farm. Cragg House over looks acres of land occupied by livestock and panoramic views of the fells. The tranquil farm is only two miles outside of Bowness-on-Windermere. There are great local pubs and eateries and walks. There is even a golf course less than half a mile away.

A luxury self-catering studio apartment with exposed slate walls, on our top (second) floor, Penthouse is suitable for a couple, two adults with a child, or a group of three. It has a solid oak, king-sized bed and a solid oak, single sofa bed, mini-kitchen and living area. The kitchenette has a small hob, fridge, and microwave. The bathroom has a roll-top bath and separate shower. Penthouse also enjoys access to a private roof terrace with stunning panoramic views. Too beautiful to miss!

The bedroom is on the ground floor with an ensuite private shower room. We are close to the hospital, ideal if need somewhere to stay if you are working there for a week or two. Breakfast is provided for you in the utility room, you are welcome to use our dining room.
