We provide customized rock climbing trips in Joshua Tree National Park from first time beginners to experienced climbers. Our guides will meet at Quail Springs Picnic Area BACK parking lot (by the BATHROOMS) in Joshua Tree National Park and outfit you with a harness, helmet and rock climbing shoes. You will also be provided you an overview of the trip then select a climbing location best suited to match your experience and ability. Once we are all done with that, we will stay at Quail Springs Picnic Area or caravan deeper into the Park. When we get to the climbing site, we will teach you how to belay a climber and manage the climbing rope. You will also learn safety checks and verbal commands used in rock climbing. Depending on the size of your group, we can add rappelling to your trip. When you book a rock climbing adventure, you will experience the world-class climbing in Joshua Tree National Park. Even before you enter the gate the Llamas will be checking you out, the goats will cry out a welcome. When you enter their corral you might be wary of their size, and you will be amazed at their speed as they run around to show off their long strides. After they run for you, we will show you how to hold the llama pellets in your hand as the llamas use their oddly soft pillowy-lips to pick up the pellets. The llamas love the pellets so enjoy, and pet them. Once the LLamas have eaten all the pellets, we will introduce you to our six goats and our six other llamas by spreading hay for the llamas to graze on and everything becomes peaceful and silent. You hear the wind in the trees, the call of the quail, the gentle sound of hay being mashed into cud. When you look up you notice you are surrounded by the desert, the Sawtooth and Joshua Tree mountains to the South, the ancient volcanic Black Mesa to the West, and Johnson valley stretching endlessly North. Throughout this experience your hosts will educate you on all things llama, in addition snap as many photos of you so you when you aren't taking them yourself. Then take a 3 minutes short walk through the desert, perhaps encountering some wildlife on our way to a small private water feature where you will experience natural hot springs from deep within the San Andreas fault. Conversation will include how the hot springs occur, local wildlife, plants, geographic points of interest, and other interesting information regarding the sanctuary and surrounding areas. Then Reset and connect with Mother Earth as Panoramic desert views enhance this meditative western sunset. This is a private and primitive Off grid ritual. A Tarot card reading is a form of cartomancy whereby practitioners use Tarot cards to gain insight into the past, present or future. Guests will start by drinking a cup of Ceremonial Cacao. When you go on a horseback ride with a string horse venue, they typically don’t teach you anything about the horse or how to ride a horse or any of that. The horses are saddled up you get on and you go. That is where we are different. Here you will get the whole experience. You will get to know your horse learn a little bit fundamental care for the horse, and a little mini lesson about how to ride and know your horse. You will learn to trust your horse and he will trust you. This is a horse experience not just a horseback ride.

This 2-hour experience allows each guest to pick from a variety of pre-made pots. Horsehair "Raku" during the experience uses a technique of applying horsehair, feathers, and/or sawdust to red hot pots. The carbon in these items transfer suddenly to the pot and are permanent. This method is eye-popping and amazing. Any age can do it. I recommend children be at least 10 and able to be respectful to other guests. I am sometimes a little corny, but very capable of sharing the How-To's, mixed with some history and other uses of clay. I am very good at coaching, and helping guest achieve a decorated raku pot that they are excited to take home. This is the kind of experience that will be fondly remembered for a lifetime.

We offer an open-air, safari Jeep experience to some of the coolest wineries in Temecula. You'll hop into our Jeep Gladiator, equipped with safari doors, a sound bar, and a roof rack for storing all your glamorous gear. You’ll visit our little farm and experience the morning routine with the animals. After being welcomed joyfully by our two dogs, Casper the Husky and Lola the Great Pyrenees, we'll meet at the outdoor kitchen. You’ll arrive just in time for the animals' breakfast, they will be waiting for you to feed and pet them! Starting with Tagada the horse and Carambar the donkey. (They will need to be brushed as well!) Next, we will walk over to the enclosure of the exotic birds. With prepared food and fresh vegetables from the garden, you’ll feed Charles and Diana the amazing peacocks, Popeye the astonishing turkey, and the two dozen rare chickens (Pompadour, Dubarry, Mary, Scarlet, Frida…) You will personally hand-feed them and gather their eggs, find out about the different breeds and learn fun facts about their origins. Then you’ll enter the barn to discover the world of our 26 sweet and gentle goats! You may scratch the heads of the adults and hold the babies (depending on the season). A perfect time for photographs! All the while I’ll explain how the Farm came to be, the sustainability of our practices, and how each species was found and rescued. Your visit will end with light refreshments and tastings of our goods.
