With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

Built with earth block and wood, this home has a warm and inviting character, surrounded by native forest, you will relax to the sound of Bell birds and Tuis. The master bedroom opens onto a private patio facing north, to capture morning sun and the ever-present view of the National Park. Two further bedrooms look out over native forest, creating plenty of space for family or guests.

Ideal for day trips to Nelson or Golden Bay or to visit the huge scenery of the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks and Kaiteriteri beach.

Once a pottery shed now a one bedroom cottage with ensuite bathroom, fully functional kitchen, living, dining areas and rear patio area with afternoon sun and views of the mountains. Within walking distance of Motueka town centre, Motueka golf club, taste trail cycle path and all local amenities.

The handcrafted and wool insulated yurt is warm and cosy year round and has a skylight to gaze at the stars at night. A private retreat in the native bush with outdoor kitchen, bath/shower and composting toilet all with amazing views of the Motueka river valley and the Tasman Bay beyond.

Quiet and cosy Motueka

The master bedroom and en-suite in my home is set up as a private Airbnb room. It has its own car parking area, entrance door, and kitchenette. I live in the rest of the house. So its like staying in your own motel room but without that usual bland and touristy motel feeling.
