Burton House - on the seawall in Robin Hood's Bay

Burton House is a cosy 18th Century holiday cottage located 5 meters from the seawall at the top of King street and Chapel Street in the heart of the picturesque coastal village of Robin Hood's Bay . The house is packed full of traditional Victorian features and home comforts. The back of the house faces the sea and provides direct sea views from a number of small windows including the infamous "loo with a view". The beach, pubs, shops and cafes are a 2 minute walk along family friendly paths.

Cosy Cottage Close To 199 Steps, Perfect Location

The Shoemakers Cottage has undoubtedly one of the best locations in Whitby right at the bottom of the 199 steps tucked in a quiet alley off the cobbled street. A small but cosy romantic cottage over 3 floors close to the harbour, the abbey and very close to Tate Hill Beach. BBQ and picnic basket set provided. Romantic victorian freestanding bath in the main bedroom. Arrival is down the busy cobbled church street. Best location. On-street parking scratch card provided in the W zone 10min walk.

Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

We have a great south facing veranda with amazing views. The cottage faces south with views right across the bay. Bedding and towels provided. Free parking pass for the (“Homeowners car park). 3 nights minimum booking. No Pets. The property is not suitable for mobility problems due to steps. Check in 3pm. Check out 10.30am.

Chapel Cottage - Fylingthorpe - Robin Hoods Bay

Chapel Cottage is a charming, pet friendly, 18th century cottage. It sleeps 4. A short and easy walk from Robin Hood’s Bay, convenient for anywhere locally. Difficult to believe that Chapel Cottage was part of the former Methodist Chapel in the village (at least until 1900). John Wesley was reputed to have preached here in the 1790’s. A strenuous 54 paces to the village Pub and shop (depending on your leg length), its still only less than 10 minutes to the top of Robin Hood’s Bay, bank.

Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, the top floor is the loft bedroom (double & single bed) and sea views! This cottage, in the village of Wrelton near Pickering, was a 19th century blacksmith's forge and has now been renovated into a delightful living space complete with fully-equipped kitchen, large living room area, bathroom with walk-in shower and a cosy bedroom located on a mezzanine floor which is reached via a spiral staircase. The Old Forge offers a great location for a relaxing stay in beautiful North Yorkshire.
