the Loblolly getaway

Unplug at the Loblolly. Enjoy peace and quiet in our one bedroom home set on 37 acres of pines bordering many acres of state land. We do not have cable TV, however we have a DVD player with a dresser full of DVD movies! Take a walk. Bring your mountain bikes and hit the state land trails. Sit on the 3 season porch and watch the birds, or read. Eat out on the back patio. We are 20 minutes from Pinehurst, 25 from Rockingham. 5 minutes from interstate 73. Full kitchen plus washer and dryer.

Welcome to The Stay and Play Retreat! We are centrally located just minutes away from some of the areas greatest attractions such as Pinehurst No. 2 (8 Miles), Rockingham Dragway (14 miles), Carolina Horse Park (10 miles), and Fort Bragg (16 miles) . We're also surrounded by many beautiful golf courses including Legacy Golf Links and a wide variety of dining options within 11 miles of this completely renovated home that has been created specifically for your comfort, relaxation & enjoyment.

Chauffeur’s Apartment on Historic Property

Enjoy the former chauffeur's quarters located on the grounds of our National Register of Historic Places property with access to the tranquil gardens of the Manor House. The kitchen is complete and the comfortable full-sized bed should provide a good night's rest. Downtown activities are within easy walking distance. There are multiple seating areas to enjoy the extensive gardens on the one acre grounds that are shared with the main property. We cannot host guests under the age of 16.

Charming School Bus Getaway

We are pretty sure you have never stayed in a spot like this. Turning this school bus into a fun and unique stay has been a year-long labor of love for us, and we think you will love it and remember it for years to come. It is tucked away on our property with a relaxing vibe and some beautiful views. It has everything you need for either a short or long stay. Being a bus, it does have features that might not suit all guests, please peruse the photos to see if it looks right for you.

Lakeside Cottage nestled near Pinehurst and CHP

Bellago Farm Cottage is nestled in the woods off the edge of the North Carolina Game Lands. It is 6 miles from the Carolina Hotel/Pinehurst Resort and the famous Pinehurst #2 Golf Course, and 8 miles from the Carolina Horse Park. The lakeside cottage welcomes you to fishing and swimming its spring-fed 9-acre, very clear waters. Enjoy relaxing between activities with easy access wi-fi or tv. If you are traveling to the area for equine competition, horse boarding is available.

Golf Resort, Private Entrance, Bath & Kitchenette

This Condo is located on Talamore Golf Resort and is minutes away from many world class golf courses, to include Pinehurst Resort. Approximately 40 minutes to Fort Bragg for Military/DOD civilians who are TDY or house hunting; 4 miles to First Health Moore Regional Hospital for travel nurses; 2.5 miles to Sandhill community college; Reservoir Park is a 250 yard walk from the front door and includes a 95 acre lake, and more than 12 miles of Greenway Trails.

This is a peaceful area with time to just slow down a little. Looking for a little peace & quiet? I have the place for you. Very cute Guesthouse nestled deep in the country area of Carthage. It's like taking a few steps back in time when life was simple. We are located within minutes to Pinehurst, Seven Lakes, Cameron, Pottery Highway and downtown Carthage. A very quiet area with nothing but the sounds of Mother Nature.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for group trips. 1BR with full kitchen, bathtub, and comfortable sleeper sofa for additional guests or kids to sleep well. Close proximity to restaurants, Rockingham Motor Speedway, Highway 73/74 and US Route 1 and 220. Up to 4 units are available to invite family and friends to lodge in adjacent apartments. Units have everything you need to enjoy your home away from home stay.

In The Pines

Completely renovated and furnished in ‘22 with modern decor. Gather on the shaded screened porch while dinner is prepared in the fully equipped open kitchen/dining area. Kitchen has granite counter tops and all new appliances. The living room is spacious with comfortable seating for all guest. The bedrooms are located away from communal spaces. Each bedroom has luxury linens on Queen beds for a good nights sleep.

The Suite Spot

This centrally located suite is the perfect spot for your next visit to Pinehurst. Come and enjoy the views from the back covered porch, book a tee time at one of Pinehurst’s world renowned golf courses, soak up some North Carolinian vitamin D and then take a dip in the pool, or simply stay indoors and let The Suite Spot be your sweet respite from the world.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy the peace and quiet off the beaten path amidst the pines. Come and unplug. We do have wi-Fi now! And we have plenty of space to get out and enjoy nature. Only 25 minutes to Pinehurst. Enjoy the firepit or grilling out and eating at the picnic table under the pavillion.
