1832 Historic Washington Bottom Farm Log Cabin

Welcome to our renovated 1832 Log Cabin on the grounds of the George William Washington and Sarah Wright Washington 19th century plantation. The cabin was the first structure built. Then came barns and slaves’ quarters (no longer standing). The dairy barn is now a woodworking shop and the bank barn was recently restored. The main house, built in 1835, is Greek Revival style. Today, our 300+acre is Certified Organic. We border the South Branch of the Potomac River. It’s ALMOST HEAVEN !

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located cottage. Enjoy the creek front home on over 8 acres of wooded tranquillity. There is plenty of space for outdoor activities for family and friends to enjoy time together. The General Store

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This is a newly built (2025) one bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom home which is located on a working sheep and herb farm of 13.5 acres. It’s at the end of a quiet lane. Unwind and enjoy a good book, play board games, watch a DVD or cook in our well stocked kitchen. You may want to take a walk and visit the sheep and chickens or herb garden. A perfect getaway to reconnect and recharge.
