This older family home is located in Semora on our family's farm. The home is very secluded and private on a beautiful road. VIR (Virginia International Raceway) is only a 12 minute drive away. Hyco Lake is an 11 minute drive. This makes us perfectly situated between two popular vacation spots. We are about 12 minutes from Milton and 20 minutes from Yanceyville and Roxboro where you can find shopping and restaurants. **Please note this is a very rural home. We do not do long term renters.

Quiet your mind and restore your body in the luxurious hot tub or warm up by the cozy fire-pit. Under 10 miles to Hillsborough or Durham, and their many restaurants, breweries and shops. Enjoy the privacy of two secluded wooded acres, surrounded by the sights and sounds of our farm, where we are growing fruits, veggies and mushrooms & caring for our animals and pastures.

Fortress of Solitude

Want to get away? Fortress of Solitude is a modernist house on 30 acres. Relax on the porches listening to birdsong. The fortress was built in 2007 as a vacation home. Passive solar design features include concrete walls and many windows. The style of the fortress is a call back to old NC tobacco barns. Surrounded by forest with no neighbors in sight, this home has excellent privacy and a half mile long driveway. Gratitude to all guests who stayed during our 1st year!

Indoor and outdoor living that is large enough for six adults. Floating dock invites you to spend your days on the lake - swimming, fishing, boating, or just soaking in the views. Canoe, Kayaks, Paddle-boards & life vests provided!

Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful waterfront property. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with one queen bed, one full bed, and a pull out sofa! The kitchen is fully stocked with a coffee pot, utensils, pizza pan, crock pot, skillet, pots , pans, baking sheets, toaster, oven and microwave! Bedrooms and living room have smart tvs. WiFi available! Enjoy the kayaks, lots of fishing, grilling, and fire pit! There is something for here for everyone!

Cozy Cottage on a Hilltop

Private cottage for people & pets (please indicate what kind of pets you are bringing). The cottage offers beautiful views of the countryside overlooking the pastures. There is a private seating area by the side of the cottage where you can enjoy amazing sunrises with a cup of coffee or cocktails in the evening. My 2 acres of property offer privacy and quiet atmosphere to enjoy a peaceful retreat. Please let me know the ETA the day of the arrival.
