'Atatū' means "dawn" - our favourite time at the property, when the sun travels across the sea to outline the hills and all is peaceful. Atatū is a great base for outdoor adventures in the three National Parks nearby, wine-tasting in local vineyards, olive grove picnics, gallery visits or delicious meals in excellent local eateries. A glorious swimming pool and spa await you upon return. The chef's kitchen & BBQ ensure you can prepare sumptuous meals with delicious local ingredients.

The Boot - Fairytale Accommodation

Rising from the ground like something straight out of a fairytale storybook, The Boot is one of those true one-off places. This spellbinding hideaway is set on the Tasman Coast, an area of natural beauty and rugged coastline, backed by mountain scenery to explore. Motueka is the closest town to Abel Tasman National Park, and we are nestled between Nelson City and Nelson Lakes to the South and Golden Bay to the North.

Hairy Hobbit is a modern self contained holiday cottage offering peaceful accommodation in 70 acres of native bush, bursting with birdlife and fantastic views across Tasman Bay. Ideal for day trips to Nelson or Golden Bay or to visit the huge scenery of the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks and Kaiteriteri beach.
