If summer doesn't inspire a near clinical obsession with the water, then we don't know what does! Enjoy your visit & may all who enter as guests leave as friends. Within 20 minutes: Kerikeri, markets, chocolate factory, airport, Paihia beaches, Waitangi Treaty grounds, Glow worm stalgmite caves, Kaikohe, thermal hot springs, Okaihau, Puketi kauri forest, oldest NZ houses, 8 mins drive to cycle/walk trail.

2 Bedroom self-contained converted artist studio set in flat park-like grounds with olive grove, waterfront & stream (tidal) & boat ramp. Ideal for peaceful relaxation, fishing from nearby rocks, your boat or our kayaks, and as a base for sightseeing in the Bay of Islands, Russell, Paihia, Kerikeri and the Far North. Nearby swim at Jills Bay (walking distance), swim or surf at east coast Elliot Bay. 17km to Russell and the famous Duke of Marlborough Hotel.

Wharau Lodge

Wharau Lodge is a privately owned 2 bedroom home which is available to be used as an idyllic holiday retreat offering panoramic views over the Bay of Islands. If we do not have people staying before or after you we offer flexible check in and check out. We charge a $85 cleaning fee. Also there is an optional $55 charge if you would like us to have the Hot Tub ready to use.
