You'll find it's been recently refurbished and is a very tidy self contained guest house with rural views from your back deck, the sea views can seen from the front of the units driveway. We are in a quiet and safe area, a great base to explore the Bay of Islands. Swimming beach within walking distance. Perfect for couples and solo adventurers. Bay of Islands is the Birthplace of NZ. All sightseeing tours go from here. Every point of interest in Northland is visited in a day trip from here. Stay a week, use our place as your base. You’ll love our place because of the location in a peaceful and quiet street, 1.2 km away from all the hubbub and noise associated with being right in the heart of Paihia (especially in holiday season). Our place is close to supermarkets, beaches, restaurants and dining, walking tracks, cruises and tours.

Woolley’s Bay offers an idyllic beach stay with a range of activities including diving , kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, paddle boarding, swimming, cycling, walk/running and horse trekking Tutukaka is a 15 minute drive to restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and the marina where fishing and dive charters to the Poor Knights Island are available. Nearby Coastal walks provide access to some of the most picturesque and deserted beaches in Northland.

Kereru Lodge - Central Paihia

Nestled in native bush surrounding Paihia, Kereru Lodge is located a just a short walk from the town centre. Close to the intercity bus depot, main wharf, as well as bars and restaurants. This river facing private suite is a stunning spot to situate yourself whilst visiting the Bay of Islands. Waitangi Self Contained Studio

Fully self contained, quiet and private yet located close to beach, boat ramp, supermarket and cafes. Newly built and cozy with plenty of outdoor flow. The shower although private it is outside. May not suit everyone. There are bikes and a touring kayak. At high tide there is access to the Waitangi river and plenty enough time to paddle to Haruru falls or Paihia and back.
