We absolutely love this place! Casual, but cool dining experience with wine and beer, as well as some locally sourced beers/drinks. It’s situated in Osterville’s Main Street, and a 1-2 minute drive to Dowse’s beach.

This is one of Alex’s favorite spots. Definitely family-friendly. They have a little bit of everything for everyone. They are also open late. You can sit at a table or sit at the bar. If you stop by here, you have to try their Original Fried Ice Cream. If you like desserts, if you like ice cream, if you like things with a hint of cinnamon- just do it.

This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant is a great find. It is not ideal for dine-in for groups larger than 4 or 5 people, but you could always order take out.

There is a quaint theater nearby and several shops as well as the Chatham Lighthouse, so you could make a day out of it!

Efforts to recover more artifacts from the wreck are ongoing.

Vehicles are allowed on the beach with a special off road vehicle permit and there is a designated area for those vehicles, so there are no safety issues. Campfires are usually allowed, more information can be found on Barnstable Town’s website under the Sandy Neck page.
