Kirkstile Inn is a great place to stop for a drink/bite to eat after a walk around Loweswater, Crummock or Buttermere. I would highly recommend that you book first as it’s a popular place for both locals and visitors.

If you are celebrating something special or love your fine dining, The Cottage in the Wood is a must. This Michelin Star restaurant is located in Whinlatter Forest near Keswick. It’s cute but classy and the food is superb.
